Welcome to pianoCompare.com a site dedicated to the comparison of piano sample libraries and modeled virtual instruments. This site was developed by the same authors of playIvorys.com. Although we don't have all the commercial piano libraries available we do have some of the most popular ones. The site does contain all the demos from playIvorys.com and new demos also. We would like to thank the many talented compa nies and indivudual developers for creating these wonderful instruments that we can perform and record with. Just a few of the libraries like, Ivory, Coakely Perfect Piano Series, TruePianos, Garritan Steinway and more... Also many of the libraries here were contributions by visitors like yourself and we are very greatful for their contributions which add so much value to our comparisons. This site does not promote or discredit any library, it simply allows users to make comparisons and hear the wonderful libraries that are available. Please frequent back from time to time as more demos and different libraries are added. |

PianoWave Demos Now Available |

Pianowave has been rendered for Demo A. Check out the details of these piano libraries at http://www.pianowave.de/e-index.htm. Many thanks to Thomas Czerny for his effort to make this possible. All demos were rendered with no external eq or processing by using the default presets within the Kontact library. The demos where normalized. Listen to these samples of a Boesendorfer, Kawai and Steinway pianos. To locate these simply select PianoCompare from the menu above. Also Demo1, Demo2 and Demo5 from the PlayIvorys Demos will feature these PianoWave Libraries also. Thanks again Thomas. |

We now have the Garritan Authorized Steinway Library. Stay tuned we will feature that in very soon demo soon with screenshots and have rendered DemoA (16bit) with it already. After hearing this piano with no doubt this piano will be in my next recordings. Listen to the demos and feel free to comment on them.
